GEG Kallmet Superior - 14.5% vol - Mrizi i Zanave

Geg by Mrizi i Zanave is a superior red wine made from 100% Kallmet, one of Albania’s most distinctive native grape varieties.

It shows an intense ruby-red color with subtle orange reflections, developed through ageing. The bouquet is rich and expressive, with aromas of ripe red fruit, black cherry, and plum, complemented by delicate floral notes and a hint of toasted oak.

On the palate, Geg is full-bodied and complex, with silky tannins that integrate beautifully into the wine’s structure, leading to a long and persistent finish.

With an alcohol content of 14.5% ABV, Geg is produced as a natural wine, unfiltered and unfined, preserving its authentic character and aromatic expression.

It pairs beautifully with red meats, game, and aged cheeses. The ideal serving temperature is 16–18°C.
