Shesh i Zi 2021 from Alimani Winery celebrates the indigenous Albanian variety, coming from the hills of Çizmeli, Durrës. Thanks to a very rigorous selection process and controlled fermentation technique, this wine represents the best of the Albanian terroir, which ensures a unique and refined sensation.

Grape Variety and Territory

The wine is obtained from hand-picked Shesh i Zi grapes, selected only from the best vineyards located on the hills surrounding Durrës. Thanks to the excellent sun exposure and the fertile and mineral soil, this wine offers a rich and complex aromatic profile.

Production Method

The grapes are harvested by hand and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for about 15 days, maintaining a controlled temperature to best preserve the natural aromas of the grape variety. The result is a well-balanced, elegant and structured wine.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Shesh i Zi 2021 has an intense ruby ​​color, with intense aromas of ripe red fruits. Soft and round on the palate, with well-balanced tannins and a long, persistent aftertaste.

Pairings and serving temperature

Perfect with roast meats, game and mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 18-20°C for optimal flavours and structure.
