Description

Our wine is produced exclusively with the native Albanian Kallmet variety. After 12 months of aging in oak barrels, the result is an intense aroma of wild berries, an intense ruby ​​color and a soft and persistent flavour. It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, cheeses and cured meats. Our vineyards are located in the picturesque Koplik region, within "Malaysia e Madhe".

This wine has moderate acidity and an alcohol content of 13%, with a smooth flavor that persists for a long time. It goes perfectly with a wide range of dishes, including cheese, meat, fruit and desserts, best served and stored at a temperature of 12-18 ℃.

Medaur winery is founded in 2003, located in Koplik in the area of Malaysia and Madhe, Albania. Federico Cerelli has been leading the "Medaur" winery for 4 years. He follows every step from production to the final stage of bottling. Federico is an Italian winemaker and has overseen important wineries in the Chianti area of Tuscany such as: Antinori, Castello di Gabbiano, Cavalliere d'oro.
