Variety and terroir
Shesh i Zi Kavaljon is the fruit of the ancient native variety Shesh i Zi, grown in the vineyards of Golemas, Kavajë. Belba winery, with deep roots in the Albanian territory, is able to capture the soul of this grape and convey it in a full-bodied and complex wine, an expression of the unique terroir of the area.
Method of production
This wine is the result of careful fermentation and a long maturation of 36 months in French oak barrels, which lends poignancy and elegance. The prolonged maceration ensures that this Shesh i Zi Kavaljon 2017 develops an original flavor profile with a perfect balance between alcohol, acidity and tannins.
