This is a high-quality wine from Albania, expressing all the rich potential of the vineyards placed around Lalez Ishem, near Durres. It is produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, which enjoys the very special microclimate created by the sea and the southern cold winds. This gives grounds for high-quality, full-bodied varietals.
This wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, comes in deep, bright ruby color and with an elegant, aromatic nose. The wine shows dominant notes of plum, mint, and violets. On the palate, it is dry and fresh, tannic, full-bodied, with a long, persistent aftertaste. Rich flavors in this wine, along with structured tannins, not only make it perfect for aging but also enjoyable at any moment with the right dishes.
This wine expresses the best of Albanian winemaking and is carefully produced in Duka Winery organic vineyards. The vineyard is set up like an amphitheatre, where optimal sun exposure combined with natural wind circulation determines a perfect microclimate. Having only 4,500 bottles produced, it is an exclusive offer from tradition and modern winemaking.

Our dedication and care in producing Duka wine begins with the land and the vine with its location in the region of Durres and the sub-region of Ishëm. 5.5 hectares of vineyard have spread out since 2004 in the shape of an amphitheater, in terms of the microclimate created by the forests and the cool winds that embrace it from the south. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo cultivars are grown organically in our vineyard. That produce monovarietal wines, as well as the Duka Reserve wine that a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo . Added to the range of products is Grandfather's Grappa, a traditional distillate from Albania, produced in memory of Enver Duka, who wrote the first sentences in the history of the winery el Duka vineyard.
