    Description

Discover the elegance and refinement of Kallmet Prestigj, a dry aged red wine produced exclusively from the finest vineyards of Kallmet, Lezha. With traditions dating back centuries, it embodies the Kallmet variety, an ancient Albanian native grape.

    Origin and Unique Terroir
Produced from grapes grown on sandy soils in the famous “CRU” area of Kallmet, within a 5 km radius of the winery, Kallmet Prestigj derives its unmistakable and unique character from this land.

    100% Native Kallmet Grapes
Made with hand-harvested Kallmet grapes in over-ripeness to ensure high quality, it has controlled yields up to 50 quintals/ha, achieving elevated taste-aromatic values in the wine.

    Aging and Refinement
The wine matures for 12 months in stainless steel tanks, 12 months in French oak barrels, and an additional 12 months in the bottle to develop full and harmonious aromatic and taste complexity.

    Fragrant and Enveloping Taste
Kallmet Prestigj shows a bright blood-red color and an aromatic bouquet, ranging from fresh varietal scents to more complex overripe notes. On the palate, it is tannic, full-bodied, balanced with a long and persistent finish, delivering secondary and tertiary notes.

    Awards and Recognitions
Our Kallmet Prestigj won the prestigious Berliner Gold at the Berliner Wine Trophy 2023 and the Bronze Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, competing with over 18,000 wines internationally. These recognitions demonstrate the excellence and quality of our wine.

    Food Pairings and Serving Suggestions
Pairs well with prosciutto appetizers, pasta with minced meat, roasts, and mushroom-based dishes. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C to fully enhance its aromatic complexity.
