Shesh i Zi 2021 from Alimani Winery celebrates the native Albanian grape variety, grown in the Çizmeli hills of Durrës. Thanks to a very rigorous selection process and controlled fermentation, this wine represents the best of the Albanian terroir, ensuring a unique and refined experience.

Grape Variety and Terroir

The wine is made from hand-harvested Shesh i Zi grapes, selected only from the finest vineyards on the hills surrounding Durrës. With excellent sun exposure and fertile, mineral-rich soils, this wine offers a rich and complex aromatic profile.

Production Method

The grapes are hand-picked, and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for about 15 days, maintaining controlled temperatures to preserve the grape’s natural aromas. The result is a well-balanced, elegant, and structured wine.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Shesh i Zi 2021 shows an intense ruby color with strong aromas of ripe red fruits. Soft and rounded on the palate, it has well-balanced tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Food Pairings and Serving Temperature

Perfect with roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses. Serve at 18–20°C to fully enjoy its flavors and structure.
