Designation of Origin: A Land of Wine Excellence
Made from the finest grapes of the Kallmet region, which is less than 30 km away from the Kallmeti Winery, this wine carries the peculiar character of the sandy soils and ideal climate of this wine-growing area.
100% Native Kallmet Grapes
Produced only from Kallmet grapes grown in vineyards from Lezha and Scutari, with an average yield of 50-60 quintals per hectare to ensure that only a high-quality selection with rich flavor and character is used in the wine.
Winemaking Process: The Art of Tradition
Under the guidance of the expert oenologists of SEA - Studio Enologico Associato, fermentation at controlled temperature to preserve its natural aromas takes place. Aging in stainless steel tanks for 10 months with further ageing of 6 months in a French oak barrel. The wine finally rests in the bottle for 4-6 months to reach total maturation with a harmonious aromatic profile.
Organoleptic Characteristics: A wine with a strong character
Being of a varietal with a strong character, it has a lively blood-red color and an aromatic profile that melts freshness and depth. In the mouth, the Kallmet Classic is tannic and full-bodied.
