    Description

Musaj olive oil is the symbol of an exceptional combination of tradition and quality in olive oil production. Our organic extra virgin olive oil, certified by Bio Inspecta, has received numerous gold medals; the most prestigious include those from BIOL and the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition. With this certification, we export our oil to the United States, Europe, and Asia, bringing the distinctive taste of Albanian olives to kitchens worldwide.

    Flavor and Aroma Profile

This extra virgin olive oil has a bright light green color and medium fruitiness. Distinct aromas of crisp green apple, freshly cut grass, and a delicate hint of almond complement each other perfectly. Well-balanced, the taste carries moderate bitterness followed by a mild spiciness, hosting a delightful blend of flavors from ripe fruits, herbs, and fresh garden vegetables. A delicate herbaceous quality lingers on the palate, making this a versatile and flavorful oil for any meal.

    Production Method

Hand-picked Kalinjot olives, native to southern Albania, are carefully cold-pressed in our mill to preserve their health benefits. Cultivated on the hills of Skrofotina, Cerkovina, and Trevllazer near Vlora, this oil captures the richness of the region's terroir. In close collaboration with the Albanian Organic Agriculture Association, we ensure that every bottle represents the perfect standard of organic farming.

    International Recognition

To date, MUSAI olive oil has collected over 14 gold medals, demonstrating its excellence. These include numerous awards from the Italian BIOL International Competition and the NYIOOC in New York. Each recognition reinforces our commitment to producing a truly exceptional olive oil.

    Pairing Suggestions

MUSAI extra virgin olive oil, with its subtle bitterness and fruity complexity, is perfect for salads, grilled vegetables, fish, or as a finishing touch on fresh bread and cheese boards. It is destined to become an indispensable companion in every kitchen.

The distinctive taste and flavor of MUSAI oil are well-known; it has been tested by many international olive panels and accredited laboratories in Italy. Test results are available, confirming 14 gold medals, including extra gold medals.
