Rakia Moskat from the Kinolli Winery is an artisanal expression of Albanian tradition made with commitment and attention to detail. This raki is made from the grape variety Moskat Hamburg, lending this distillate an unmistakable aromatic profile. Distillation follows ancient traditions combined with refinement in the re-distillation process, producing a full-bodied yet elegant raki.
Production and Characteristics
This is a raki made from hand-selected Moskat Hamburg grapes, which have a strong, fruity aroma. After fermentation, the grapes undergo traditional distillation, thereby capturing all the flavors of the grape. The alcohol strength of 49% gives power to the spirit, while aging increases the depth and provides flavors of sweet fruits, flowers, and a long finish.
Cocktail Versatility
Raki d'Uva Moskat is drunk not only on its own but is also an excellent base for cocktails. With this delicate fragrance, mixes with mastika, citrus fruits, and herbs offer endless possibilities for unique flavor combinations.
Tasting Experience
This raki is best drunk fresh at 10°C, where its complexity is fully developed. It gives a generous fruit fragrance in the mouth, balancing out the warmth and spiciness typical of the fine rakia. Since the Moskat grapes were used, it gave it a characteristic flavor profile that was recognizable and therefore of high quality right from the first sip.
Food Pairing Suggestions
Perfect, as an after-dinner digestif, pairing with delicacies like aged cheeses, dried fruits, or grilled meats. Meanwhile, with its good balance between fruitiness and strength, Grape Raki Moskat can easily become ideal for after-dinner sipping.
