    Description

Albanian Indigenous White Wine. Shesh i Bardhë 2020 from Cantina Alimani showcases the freshness and elegance of the native Albanian grape variety. Produced from vineyards over 15 years old located in the Çizmeli hills of Durazzo, this wine reflects the best of the local terroir. Thanks to careful low-temperature fermentation, Shesh i Bardhë expresses a rich and fresh aromatic profile.

    Grape Variety and Terroir

Made from Shesh i Bardhë grapes grown on the hills of Durazzo, this wine represents the finest of Albanian winemaking tradition. The grapes, grown on well-drained soils, develop rich aromas thanks to optimal sun exposure.

    Production Method

The grapes are hand-harvested in mid-September and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15°C. This gentle process preserves the varietal aromas, creating a well-balanced and aromatic white wine.

    Organoleptic Characteristics

Shesh i Bardhë 2020 shines with its bright straw-yellow color and a richly floral nose of white flowers and pollen. On the palate, it is fresh, with lively acidity and floral notes, making it perfect as an aperitif wine.

    Food Pairings and Serving Temperature

Ideal to serve with seafood, fresh fish, and delicate cheeses. To fully enjoy its aromatic qualities, serve at a temperature between 10 and 12°C.

    About the producer

Me Zemer Wine Producer in Albania - Alimani Winery

"Kantina Alimani," a family-owned winery, is located in Tirana. It was founded in 2016 by the two brothers Rezart and Erjon, with the continued support of their father Ramazan. Ramazan and Rezart Alimani are returning to Albania after their experience in Italy at one of the most prestigious wineries in Rome, Poggio Le Volpi. Ramazan arrived at this winery in 2001, taking care of various jobs in the vineyards. Five years later, Rezart joined him. The close relationship he had with his grandfather Kasem Kaleci - Agronomist, fueled in him a great love for nature. As soon as he arrived in Rome in 2006, Rezart was immediately involved in the work and processes inside the winery. His love of work and passion for wine translated into their winery, new in name but rich in experience.
