    Description

Discover the elegance and refinement of Kallmet Prestigj, a dry, aged red wine produced exclusively from the best vineyards in Kallmet, Lezha. With traditions dating back centuries, it is the personification of the Kallmet variety, an ancient native Albanian grape variety.

    Origin and Unique Terroir
Produced from grapes grown on sandy soils in the famous “CRU” area of Kallmet, within a radius of no more than 5 km from the winery, Kallmet Prestigj has drawn its unmistakable and unique character from that soil.

    100% Native Kallmet Grapes
Produced with hand-harvested, overripe Kallmet grapes to ensure high quality, it has controlled yields of up to 50 quintals/ha, which can achieve high taste-aromatic values in the wine.

    Aging and refinement
The wine matures for 12 months in stainless steel tanks, 12 months in French oak barrels and a further 12 months in the bottle to develop a full and harmonious aromatic and gustatory complexity.

    Enveloping aroma and taste
Kallmet Prestigj presents itself with a brilliant blood red color and an aromatic bouquet, which ranges from fresh varietal aromas to more complex overripe notes. In the mouth, tannic, full-bodied, balanced with a long and persistent aftertaste, it brings secondary and tertiary notes.

    Awards and Recognitions
Our Kallmet Prestigj won the prestigious Berliner Gold at the Berliner Wine Trophy 2023 and the Bronze Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, competing with more than 18,000 wines internationally. These awards demonstrate the excellence and quality of our wine.

    Food pairings and service suggestions
It pairs well with ham appetizers, pasta with minced meat, roasts and mushroom dishes. It should be served at a temperature of 16-18°C, which enhances its aromatic complexity.
