Elegance and Refinement in a High Quality Red Wine. Merlot Riservë is a red wine that represents the soul of the hills of Durres (Albania). High quality Merlot grapes, carefully selected, are hand-picked from the best vineyards in the region, whose calcareous soil and optimal exposure to the sun create the ideal conditions for the production of an extraordinary wine.

Grape Variety and Territory

Produced exclusively with Merlot grapes, Merlot Riserve shows the passion and tradition of Albanian winemaking. The vineyards are located on the hills of Durres at 400 meters above sea level and have low yields per plant, offering excellent quality and exceptional concentration of flavors.

Production Method

The grapes undergo a careful and gentle fermentation to best preserve their natural aromas. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, adding depth and complexity to the aromatic and flavor profile of the wine. The result is a Merlot riserva with a unique character and a velvety structure.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Dark ruby ​​color, the Merlot Riserve is dense and rich in bouquet with intense notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and hints of vanilla. Full-bodied, even on the palate the important structure is linked by a much more elegant balance. Very smooth, soft, they fall into a long and persistent finish.

Pairings and Serving Temperature

This wine pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts and game, accompanied by mature cheeses. The wine should be served at a temperature between 18-20 ° C to perceive its aromatic nuances.
